Missing those days of Warcraft III or StarCraft 2? Sure, you can still play some of those classic real-time strategy (RTS) titles today, but if you want to jump into something a bit more modern, then Stormgate may offer that experience. Designed by Frost Giant Studios, a development house full of veteran developers from some of the classic RTS titles of the past, Stormgate hopes to tap into a market that's been a bit underserved lately.

Featuring 3 factions, 1v1 PvP, a co-op mode against AI, and with more modes and features planned for full launch, Stormgate wants you to either defend humanity or attempt to eradicate it through an RTS campaign mode. Sometime during early access, Stormgate will also unlock an Editor mode that allows players to create your own maps, mods, or custom games.

Stormgate is free-to-play with in-game monetization and additional features are planned for the completion of early access.
