Wrath Brings Fiery New Dungeons And A Limited Time PvP Instance To Aion Classic EU In 3.7
The update arrives in two weeks on April 23rd.
Update 3.7, Wrath, is dropping on Aion Classic EU servers in just two weeks on April 23rd. The F2P MMORPG's patch will bring two new dungeons, the return of a PvP instance, and an enchanting system revamp.
On the dungeons front, both the Burning Blood Fortress and Dokkaebi Realm are tuned for up to six players that are all level 56 or higher. You can enter these dungeons up to 5 times per week. In the former, you'll need to take out Yaksha's chaotic rain of fire and and the Fire Dragon King's energy. The latter sees players try to reclaim a ruined village from evil forces.
If you're looking for some PvP action instead, Tiarkh Testing Lab is back, but the PvP instance won't be a permanent feature. Hit the map as much as you can until it disappears again.
The game's enchanting system revamp comes with this update, too, but we'll have to wait for some more details on that one. According to the trailer below, it'll help you become stronger...but that's all we've got right now.
While new content is always nice, there are a few players warning others in the YouTube comments on the trailer about some monetization choices the game continues to make. It seems that Classic may be sliding down the same road that retail did when it comes to monetization concerns. Be forewarned before you get going. Expect fuller patch notes as launch nears. In the meantime, here's what's on the official site so far.
