Tencent games released a new update for its frosty battle royale Ring of Elysium yesterday, introducing the first season of the Adventurer Pass.

Following the launch of Ring of Elysium last month, Tencent is ready to reveal some of its plans for the game's future.

Less than two weeks after entering Early Access, Tencent's take on the battle royale genre, Ring of Elysium, has hit the 1 million registered users mark.

Tencent has decided to go ahead and jump into the battle royale genre on its own, even though they have one of the biggest pieces of that pie in PUBG.

Ring of Elysium (formerly Europa) is available on Steam later today.

It's official, Tencent Games' entry into the battle royale genre is just about ready to go live.
