Save A Little MMORPG Money With These Black Friday (And Beyond) Sales
Whether you're looking for a new game, some new DLC, or even just some cash shop cash, there's a lot on sale this weekend.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! We all know that there's some sales to be had out there this Friday, and that includes the world of MMORPGs. Here's a few of the deals I've seen in my travels today, but some of them expire this weekend, so if they interest you, make sure to grab them up.
Steam Autumn Sale
First up, there's a few decent MMO or multiplayer offerings over at the currently active Steam Fall Sale. This sale runs until December 4th.
- Diablo 4 is 20% at $30
- The Elder Scrolls Online base game is $5, and the latest Gold Road expansion is 67% off at $20
- Destiny 2's The Final Shape is $25
- Guild Wars 2 expansions are all on sale for 20-75% off, there's more going on in the gem store, too.
- There's a ton of other smaller co-op games on deep sale if you want something with fewer players than an MMO.
Daybreak Games Offerings
There's a slew of discounts if you're in on any MMORPGs under the Daybreak umbrella.
- DCUO has 50% off anything in the Bundles, Powers, Base Items, and Social tabs is 50% off and most other marketplace items are 25%, excluding items purchased directly with cash.
- Dungeons & Dragons Online (DDO) has expansions up to 75% off and additional discounts on other items.
- EverQuest and EverQuest 2 are probably the weakest offerings, with discounts on bottles in the OG MMO and spell research and EXP scrolls discounted in the sequel.
- The Lord of the Rings Online is offering expansions up to 80% off, with other cash shop bundles on sale.
- PlanetSide 2 is running a number of limited-timed sales on vehicles and infantry weapons and cosmetics. Check the site for the schedule.
Other Miscellaneous Offerings
Here's a few extras I've seen out there:
- Lost Ark is selling a few sale-exlcusive bundles until December 4th. Each bundle has a myriad of items on offer.
- I'll add any others I see and you can add more in the comments!
