Wizard 101 Turns 13 And Wants To Give You Goodies To Celebrate!
Celebrate with unlimited access to select worlds, birthday perks, and more.
Alright. It looks like today is just the day for video game anniversaries. This time, it’s Kings Isle’s Wizard 101, and the game is turning thirteen. So, the developer is hosting a week-long celebration beginning today and running through September 8. During the event, players will have free access to Wizard City and Krokotopia, and be able to participate in giveaways, among other things.
Birthday fish are bad as well, but this event isn’t just a rehash of past events. Players can also expect some new birthday goodies, including a birthday box mount and a few different staff options. Most of these are in-store items and whether or not you can purchase them is determined by how old your account is. The Candle Staff is available to everyone, but after that, the next several staves require players to have accounts older than a year, five years, and ten years. More mounts and pets are available in the Crown Shop.
As far as free goodies, players will receive all kinds of special benefits during the celebration. These include second chance chest rolls, double crafting, zero energy fishing, double pet XP, and more. And, if you use the code THIRTEENAGER2021 before 11:59 PM on Thursday, September 30th, you’ll receive several party favors, including an origami party crane pet, a sparkler wand, a confetti cannon, and more.
