EverQuest Year of Darkpaw

Look, I know you EverQuest and EverQuest 2 fans out there literally just got expansions to your MMORPGs within the last 2 months. However, that doesn't mean we can't already start looking forward to the next expansions. Hell, Daybreak and Darkpaw Games are already talking about them in new 2025 roadmaps for both games, so let's dive in.

Going with OG EverQuest first, 2025 will see the game's 32nd expansion in December, with pre-orders going live in October. January February, and March will each see a raid tier of the MMO's latest Outer Brood expansion release, a new Progression Server launch comes in May, and "potential" server merges are being considered for July (interesting).

Almost the entire year of events is mapped out so if you really wanted to know when "Talk Like A Pirate" events will fire, check the image below. Throughout the year, expect server performance improvements, the conversion of Suite windows to the new UI engine, and more cheating protections to roll out.

On the sequel front, things are a little slimmer. That's not to say that there isn't content coming, there is, there's just fewer specific details on some of the smaller things. Expect expansion number 22 in December. EQ2 will see two GU betas and launches before we make it there, though. The rest of the roadmap lists all the events you can expect in game along the way.

Check out both roadmaps below.
