Warhaven Shares Details On Early Access Maps And New Game Modes In Dev Log #6
Here's where and what you'll be playing in Early Access.
Warhaven, the free-to-play medieval fantasy warfare game from Nexon, is slated to begin Steam Early Access on September 20th. As we inch toward that day we're getting more and more information on the game and what players can expect when they log in for the first time.
Five maps will be available in Warhaven Early Access: Moshbarg, Gella, Podden, Sihan, and Hwara. There will be five game modes as well: Dominion, Onslaught, Arms Race, Team Deathmatch, and Reclamation.
12v12 matches will take place on the full-size maps, while 6v6 matches will occur in condensed areas on those maps. The match sizes have been reduced from 16v16, but the Warhaven devs say they have maintained the thrill of large-scale combat.
Time-to-kill will be reduced slightly from the last iteration of the game, falling somewhere in the middle of the last two updates.
Ice Stones, Ignition Stones, and Respawn Tents have been classified as Designated Relics, and can only be utilized in set locations. The Warhaven devs say this makes Relic usage more strategic, while also balancing the effects they have on a match.
