Warhaven Announces Refund Policy Ahead Of Closure, But Not All Early Access Spending Will Be Returned
You'll be getting some of your money back.
With Warhaven's impending closure on April 5th, Nexon has announced a refund policy for those who spent money in the game's cash shop.
Transactions made after 12/13/23 (the start of Pre-Season 2) will be automatically refunded to your Steam Wallet whether that currency was used or not. Refunds will be issued after service ends.
This, however, does not apply to purchases made in Taiwan which will not be refunded automatically. Only certain partial refunds can be made in Taiwan after issuing a refund request and verifying personal information.
To be honest, this was more than I was expecting from Nexon, so good on them for at least issuing refunds for some of the money I spent on Warhaven. That said, not refunding ALL cash spent since the game never left early access seems a tad sketchy.
