War Thunder Introduces Auction System For Player-Created Content
Now there’s more than one way to obtain player-made items.
Gaijin Entertainment announced a new way to obtain items created by your fellow War Thunder players today. The Auction is a new system that will allow players to use Gaijin Coin to bid on lots put up for auction. The system functions like a typical online auction, giving players a set amount of time to bid with the ability to bid again if someone outdoes them. Whoever has the highest bid when the time is up wins the item.
As the system is new, the developers are wanting to test it out. To do that, they’ve listed a few items dedicated to the Lunar New Year. Bids are currently being accepted with the bidding period lasting until February 10. Players who manage to purchase one of the lots will receive a special decal as well. Full details on how to participate are available on the War Thunder site.
On a separate note, if you haven’t researched the R2Y2 V1, V2, or V3, you might want to do so soon. In fact, all three are being removed from the shooter game's Japanese aircraft tree in April. Note that if you’ve already begun the process, you’ll still be able to do so after they’re removed.
