War Thunder Analyzes 15 Thousand Entries Of Feedback From Latest Questionnaire
That's a lot of data.
In their latest dev blog over on the official War Thunder Steam page, Gaijin Entertainment is beginning to analyze and give responses to many, many points of feedback they received to their latest questionnaire. They say they received 14,562 player-submitted entries to be exact.
More than 90% of the feedback addressed issues with economy and progression. Many of them are geared toward repair costs and the ability to pay for them by being active in battle. Also touched on multiple times was the time needed for new players to progress to the top tiers. Approximately 4% of players were concerned about purchasing modules, and the possibility of having free - perhaps lengthy but free - repairs. Gaijin says it will be addressing these concerns and more in the upcoming War Thunder roadmap promised by June 14th.
On the gameplay side of things, 10% of players touched on gameplay issues in War Thunder. Gaijin is still looking at all of this information but did touch on some key issues.
Locations and how susceptible they are to being shot through in ground battles were a concern, and the War Thunder team says they are already heavily engaged in reviewing and polishing locations.
Night battles were another area of concern, and the team is looking into improvements.
There was a ton of feedback on individual vehicles, modules, and weapons.
As mentioned before, the War Thunder team is still analyzing the gameplay portion of the feedback and promises to have more responses soon.
