War Thunder Adds New Alpine Map
As spring approaches, the weather outside is becoming less frightful every day, but there's a delightful new wintry map coming to War Thunder soon.
The aptly named Snowy Valley features a town nestled away in the high mountains, with narrow mountain passes and tunnels, a train station, and a destroyed bridge. The map is suitable for both air and ground battles, with a variety of mission types available. The dev diary on the new map stresses the close-quarters combat through the constricted passes and tunnels, making cover crucial to success.
In addition to the Snowy Valley map, there are plenty of new fighting vehicles coming to War Thunder with Update 1.57, each with its own description page. For planes, there are the German Do 135 and Fw 189A-1 Uhu, and American P-61 "Flying Tank"; ground-based reinforcements include the Soviet T-44-100 and KV-1S, and the British Falcon AA gun.
