TSW Players... Here's What You Need To Know About Legacy Transfers in Secret World Legends
Secret World Legends is launching head start tomorrow, and the one big question on the minds of TSW veterans is, "How do we get our stuff?" Now we finally know the answer.
Funcom published a quick post earlier today giving players the rundown on how to access their accounts via the Legacy Transfer System. This is the system that will copy over remaining TSW Membership time into Patron status time, unlock all the weapon pages, and bring over whatever clothing and vanity items the team has approved for transfer.
The system kicks in tomorrow with head start and simply requires players to log in using their TSW account information.
This is important.
Do not log in using another account. Don't create an account in SWL and THEN create one in TSW. This will not get items transferred over. Just log in using your TSW account info.
You can do this via the SWL account page. Keep in mind that it's not currently active and you will likely have to wait until in the morning to be able to access it.
The Legacy Transfer post also gives a brief rundown on what kind of items players can expect to have transferred over to SWL. The long and short of it is that everyone is probably going to lose something, but it appears a good bulk of items will be there waiting for you.
