Trove's Kraken Finally Makes Its Way To Consoles And Things Get Spooky For Shadow's Eve
New players are being called to the game with updated tutorials and some free patron time.
More Halloween events, just this time in voxel form! Time for things to get spooky in Trove as the Shadow's Eve event returns to the MMORPG. We've got a witch that has turned themselves into a cat to guide you along this year's event. While the events themselves are similar, if not exactly the the same, as in previous years, each step has been reorganized into a new storyline.
Take out werewolves and collect a few different items, then the witch will transform back to their original form and reward you.
If you're on the console side of gamigo's title, you also get the previously PC only "Release the Kraken" update today. This update adds an expansion to the deep depths story, an expansion to the game's fishing, and a new boss fight against the Kraken.
In a nod to new players, Trove's tutorial has received some additional love and some early game bugs have been squashed. If you're totally new to Trove, playing before October 29th will grant you 7 days of Patron status for free.
Hit up the full patch notes from when the update dropped on PC a month ago.
