Today's GW2 Update Adds Story, Legendary, Fractal, Raid, And (OMG!) Better Key Storage
The first major post-expansion update for Guild Wars 2 is now live. "Daybreak" kicks off season four of the Living World, bringing with it a new story, legendary weapon, fractal, a raid wing, and a big change to make your inventory more manageable.
As with so many stories, this one starts off with a "mysterious vision" that leads the Pact Commander -- that's you, in case you weren't sure -- to "an encounter in ancient Elonian ruins might determine the fate of Tyria." Or it might not. Who knows, those mysterious visions are pretty capricious!
Other new content in this update include a new legendary focus; a new fractal, Twilight Oasis; and a new raid, the Hall of Chains. Most importantly, keys are now a part of the wallet, meaning that your Pact Crowbars, Bandit Skeleton Keys, and all those other zone-specific chest-openers will no longer take up space in your inventory. We've beaten down elder dragons and gods, so it was only a matter of time before we tackled this, the greatest of challenges.
You can find full patch notes for this update on the GW2 site.
