Time To Howl At The Moon As A Varkas, The New Werewolf Class Coming To Lineage II In "Project Wolf" Next Month
The class's kit seems to be well-suited to both PvP and PvE content.
The moon is a mysterious thing sometimes. That's doubly so for someone who suffers from lycanthropy. While turning into a werewolf certainly has its benefits sometimes (who doesn't love superhuman strength, speed, and stamina?), it can certainly come with downsides like constantly having to replace clothing that rips when you inconveniently transform into a werewolf. Luckily, Lineage II players won't have to worry about those worries. This is, after all, just an MMORPG and not real life. Cool. All the benefits, none of the cons.
On April 15th, "Project Wolf" drops into the world of Lineage II introducing players to the new Varkas class. Capable of turning into a werewolf and using claws, light armor, and a slew of werewolf powers, the Varkas is well-equipped to bring on the pain in both PvP and PvE content. The class even receives exclusive buffs whenever the sun isn't out.
While you can get a brief look at the new class below, it isn't the only thing Project Wolf adds. The update includes a 50-player battle in the Water Dragon Raid and its last boss, Fafurion. Daily boss battles and a daily hunting zone are also included, as is a PvE encounter at Giran Castle every Sunday.
While you have a little less than a month to wait for the update, you can pre-register now and receive a free package containing spellbooks, hero-grade dolls, accessories, and a Wolf Necklace. There's even a "wolf-specific" battle pass available for purchase.
The update itself will be free for all users.
