Throne And Liberty's New Violetta's Star Battle Pass May Have The Most Bizarre "Sleepy" Emote I've Ever Seen
I don't exactly think of looking all around me surprised as "Sleepy."
A new year and Throne and Liberty is already kicking things off with a new battle pass. Available in the MMORPG until February 13th, Violetta's Star opens up 50 new levels of rewards for both free players and those opting to shell out a little cash to unlock the premium track. Being named Violetta's Star, you'd probably expect some rewards themed around the cosmos or celestial bodies. Nope! The Violetta outfit, available to premium owners who hit the pass's 50th level, is actually more skull-based. Maybe it's a lore thing I'm not aware of, I don't know.
What's even more bizarre to me is the "Sleepy" emote that even free players get at level 20. We've all been there sometimes, right? You're sitting at work or somewhere and you slowly start nodding off and then you jerk your head up to stay awake? Yeah. Picture that...except standing...and instead of just jerking your head up and looking around, pretend you've just seen a ghost and it literally slapped you on the backside.
What a weird animation to call "Sleepy." I think "Surprised" would have been better, but what do I know. It's shown in the quick video below if you don't believe me. You can get a new morph and a new Amitoi in the pass, too.
FYI - If you haven't quite finished the Startree Solstice Pass, which was slated to end today, you have a bit more time. The end date was extended to the 16th.

What started as a potential Dark and Darker competitor ends up closing less than a year later without an official launch.

The show won't be back, but the game itself seems to have some buzz going around its return.

Players who pre-register to play on mobile or PC will receive rewards.

It looks like backers are crushing those stretch goals.
