While many Throne and Liberty players probably penciled in the Wilds of Telandre expansion to be coming to the MMORPG in February, it turns out you'll have to wait just a tad bit longer than that. In a new "Eye on Solisium" video and blog post, Amazon Games dropped the release date for the free expansion and all the content coming with it. Sadly, you'll need to wait until March 6th for the additions...provided there's no technical issues on that day, of course.

In your quest for more power, the first thing you'll likely want to do is hit the MMO's new level cap of 55, and raise the bar on lifestyle content levels to the new 25 limit. Of course, the addition of the new Telandre zone complete with new events, field dungeons and bosses, and quests should make that part a breeze. That Codex will have plenty for you to do, I'm sure.

Telandre brings the much-anticipated launch of Tier 2 gear. Players have been asking about this for months now, so finally the day is coming. It won't be all about the gear when it comes to power, though. Telandre is also bringing a revamp to the current weapon mastery system. You'll be selecting nodes to make your favorite weapons more powerful. The new Artifact System will also give you a chance to customize your character's playstyle through a system similar to socketing gems in other MMOs.

However, you'll need to get to level 55 and hit up the new Nebula Island zone to get started with Artifacts. Your time is limited in this zone, though. You only have 7 hours per week to farm, explore, and take on special events on the island. You can extend your time there, but you'll need "Nebula Charge Stones" to do it. We'll have to see if this item is planned for the cash shop or not, and how freely they are available in game when the expansion launches.

Along with more power comes more challenges. On the dungeon front we'll see Solo dungeons added on day 1 for those that want to explore solo or just practice a bit. Three star dungeons, 5 of them, launch for level-capped players at 3500 or more combat power. This is where you'll see your Tier 2 gear dropping.

The blog post lays it all out, but expect the team to toss out more details on each new feature as the launch gets closer.
