The Time For ArcheAge Transfers Is Almost Upon Us And Kakao Has Some Important Things They Need Us To Know
Things like when and how the land rush will be occurring.
We only have two days left until ArcheAge leaves the care of gamgio and the Glyph platform and is officially passed over to Kakao Games. Of course, as time draws near, there are things happening to make sure the transfer is as smooth as possible. The first of those things has been going on for a bit now, but if you somehow missed the info on how to transfer your account from one service to another, you can read about that in one of our earlier posts.
The second thing was announced more recently – that being pre-downloads. Remember, you won’t be logging in via Glyph anymore so a different download is going to be required. You’ll also be required to have 100 GB of free space to accommodate it. The pre-download is available today, via the Kakao Games site. Just be sure to read over the requirements – although, if you were already playing, you’re probably good.
Following the game’s launch on the 2nd, there will be a Land Rush. It won’t be happening immediately, so don’t stress out about it just yet. You’ll have just a smidge over a week to prepare, as it’s scheduled for December 11 at 11:00 AM UTC for EU folks and 1:00 PST for NA folks. The post announcing this includes a small FAQ addressing things like how they plan to prevent hackers from claiming land before anyone else can, as well as a list of available servers. Some will be carried over while new ones are being added.
