Texas Chain Saw Massacre Maria

Maria Flores’ disappearance is what started things off in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre game. Since, then, her sister Ana and the other Victims have been trying to find her – or what they thought might be left of her. They didn’t really expect to find her alive, but she survived and managed to use Grandpa’s fondness for her to escape. Now, she’s joining the other Victims in the fight.

Unfortunately for the Victims, she’s not the only new face to enter the fray. A new member of the Family is taking to the field as well. Hands is a distant cousin to the Slaughter Family and is a drag racer prone to violence. In fact, he’s the one that caused Leatherface’s obsession with wearing human “masks”. In a fight at a biker bar, he beat a man to death, took his face, and wore it for a while before giving it to his cousin.

Maria’s return does bring some hope for the Victims, however. While held captive, she learned her ultimate skill, Sweet Talk, which allows her to use Grandpa’s Sonar ability. Only rather than detecting Survivors, she’s detecting the Family. This ability can be modified in various ways through her ability tree. Another of Maria’s abilities is Pep Talk, which allows her to heal after sweet-talking Grandpa.

As for Hands, he specializes in locking down areas using different contraptions. He also has the ability to physically rip out valves and fuses and can quickly start the generator or battery. Due to his massive size and general brute ability, he can also easily take out anyone who gets too close to him.

Both Maria and Hands have been introduced in some of the more recent posts on the survival game’s site, or you could just wait a few more days, until June 11, to see them in action.
