The Next Borderlands Adventure Has Been Revealed, And It's Not What You're Expecting
Introducing "Borderlands EchoVision Live," a novel interactive series.
Borderlands fans, is this what you guys have been waiting for?
Gearbox is expanding the franchise’s universe with a novel interactive series called "Borderlands EchoVision Live." The selling point is that viewers will collectively decide the outcome of the story. In the series, eight tourists embark on an adventure safari on Eden-6, the home of weapons manufacturer Jakobs Corporation. But, things take a dangerous turn when they become stranded in a town called Greywater Junction. The audience will then determine which of them will become future Vault Hunters.
Besides Gearbox, Borderlands EchoVision Live is being worked on by Genvid Entertainment, a company specializing in massively interactive live events (MILEs). It previously worked on a similar project for the Silent Hill series. As of now, there is no specific release date for the Borderlands series.
