Texas Chainsaw Massacre Game Gets Release And Tech Test Dates In New Trailer
You won't have to wait too much longer to put on your... leather face.
If you're a horror buff like I am, you've likely been loving the resurgence of some classic horror franchises finding new life in the video game space. With recent releases like Evil Dead: The Game and the upcoming Killer Klowns from Outer Space making horror game waves, it's a great time to be both a fan of horror and asymmetric slasher games.
Next into the fray will be The Texas Chain Saw Massacre: The Game from GUN Interactive, and you don't have to wait all that long to done the mask of Leatherface or some of his outlandish family members.
It's all about survival here. With multiple ways for "victims" to win and an ensemble cast complete with new members of the Slaughter family, the game hopes to capitalize and add on to the IP that it portrays.
According to a reveal trailer on IGN, there will be a tech test for the game on May 25th followed by a full launch on August 18th. While the game will release on everything but the Nintendo Switch (it'll even be a Day One release on Game Pass for both PC and console), the tech test sign up details aren't fully revealed yet. You can wishlist the game on Steam now if you want to get a jump on info as the team releases it.
