TERA Heads To Russia This June On New Gameforge Run Client
On June 4, TERA will be available to players in Russia, Ukrane, Georgia, and the Commonwealth of Independent States via a new Russian server handled by Gameforge. The new server will integrate with the already-existing Russian-language version of the game and Gameforge promises that current players will not only be able to continue accessing the game but have access to content that was previously unavailable in the region. The content in question will also be localized along with related news and community content.
Prior to the server launch on the 4th, existing russian and CIS players will be given the opportunity to migrate their accounts beginning June 2. Those who play via Steam will automatically be migrated to the Gameforge client. Unfortunately for players, this does mean there's going to be a bit of downtime for anyone on the Mystel server, as it is scheduled for shutdown on May 31. More information on the transition is available via the FAQ on the Gameforge forums.
