You can be one of the first to play and even stream the upcoming title come May 25.
In case you weren’t aware, we’re getting a video game version of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, developed by GUN Interactive.
Today, sign-ups become available for the tech test of the game, which is scheduled to take place on May 25th via Steam and will last throughout the weekend. To participate, you can wishlist The Texas Chain Saw Massacre to know when the tech test page becomes available. If you are invited, you will receive an email and your status on the store page for the base game will have changed.
This tech test is open to the public and does not require an NDA, meaning that all players can freely stream, create content, and upload videos of the game. In terms of content, it will focus on stress testing the game and backend services. Players can expect PvP matches with other participants, and be able to play as Victims (Leland, Connie, Sonny, and Ana) as well as The Cook, The Hitchhiker, and Leatherface from the Family.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre will officially release on August 18, using a final version of the game that will contain improvements from any problems identified in the tech test.
