Super Adventure Festival Makes Its Return To Guild Wars 2 Next Week

One of Guild Wars 2's most popular events is ready to return to the F2P MMORPG next week. Super Adventure Festival goes live on April 15th and runs until May 6th. Yes, the adventure box is on its way and will feature a "Super Rainbow Cloud Weapon Set," powered boots, and retro-forged weapons, among other items.

For the uninitiated, Super Adventure Box introduces 8-bit platforming adventures reminiscent of old school games. The multiple worlds and levels in each world can be taken on by players to earn various rewards tied to your character. It is my second favorite Guild Wars 2 events second only to the Nightmare Tower event introduced around Halloween. If you're new, take a look at the GW2 Wiki to see how past events have played out to see what you can expect while we wait on the official video that usually comes with the event. Right now, we just know the dates thanks to a tweet.

I wonder if Jason does this event each year...we've often spoke about the tower event, but never this one. If so, I may have to install the game again to see which of us can get the better score.
