Stars Reach Kickstarter Unveils Stretch Goal That Might Be Familiar To Star Wars Fans
They call it the "cinnamon bun".
Stars Reach bills itself as a living galaxy sandbox MMORPG and has garnered over $560,000 in support on Kickstarter. With 15 days left to go in the campaign, the folks at developer Playable Worlds are still unveiling stretch goals, and this one will be quite familiar to Star Wars fans.
If the Stars Reach campaign reaches 5,000 backers, all players will be rewarded with the "Cinnamon Bun" hairstyle. What is a Cinnamon Bun hairstyle, you ask? Well, it's none other than Princess Leia's iconic hairstyle.
The Stars Reach campaign currently sits at 3,624 backers, so it'll take a bit of a push in these final 15 days to make it happen, but it certainly seems doable.
The developers of Stars Reach are promising a true sandbox sci-fi MMORPG where you can explore alien worlds full of strange creatures, mine asteroid belts, build outposts, and run a trade empire. Crafting will be a part of what Stars Reach has to offer as well.
The team at Playable Worlds says they're already deep into development and have players actively testing and exploring the game.
