Recapping Today's Star Wars: The Old Republic Stream Showing Off Update 7.4 Details
It's all coming "Soon".
Star Wars: The Old Republic update 7.4 is nearly here and with it comes new content for the MMORPG.
The "Chains in the Dark" storyline is coming in SWTOR 7.4 with a new location on Ord Mantell for players to explore and, of course, new and returning characters will be a big part of the story. There will also be a new daily area for players to take part in and earn rewards. Interestingly, there's a new world boss coming in update 7.4 as well which should challenge players.
On the game systems improvement front, Star Wars: The Old Republic devs have been working on cinematic lighting improvements for quite some time, and there's more coming in 7.4. There's also a pretty big GTN revamp coming.
Gearing changes are also inbound with an increase to the item level ceiling so players have new gear to chase.
Life Day will of course be returning this year as well, as will new Cartel Market items.
Testing will begin on update 7.4 as soon as possible according to the stream.
