Space Punks Fame Reset

Developer Flying Wild Hog will reset the progress for low-level accounts in Space Punks when they drop its Update 8 early next year. Specifically, those below Fame 900 will lose "a couple of hours of gameplay" due to the developers adding a "new player experience."

Not all will be lost, though. Early players who have unlocked Bannik won't lose the character. And as for those above Fame 900, you'll be able to keep your progress as it is.

Flying Wild Hog explained in a recent post that Update 8 primarily focuses on the early player experience and "ensuring that players joining the game have the best time possible." In order to make that happen, the devs are "revamping the first couple of hours" of Space Punks, including new missions and objectives.

While an inconvenience for newer players still learning the ropes, you still have time to build Fame to avoid the reset entirely. Flying Wild Hog will release the deets on Update 8 soon.
