Some Lucky Tera PC Players Are Going To Walk Away With $10,000 This Weekend
A “Global Dungeon Challenge” was issued by Bluehole and Gameforge.
This is going to be a pretty amazing week for at least one group of Tera players. Over the next few days, players across the globe – Europe, Russia, North America, Southeast Asia, Japan, and South Korea – are taking part in a Global Dungeon Challenge featuring an updated version of a popular dungeon and hosted by the game's developer Bluehole and publisher Gameforge. The challenge kicked off on December 13th and runs through December 19th, at which point the winners will be revealed.
At the end of the event, the top team will walk away with $10,000, as well as an additional $1,000 for winning their region. In fact, winners in all regions will receive $1,000. Obviously, that includes the top team as well as those coming in second and third. In addition, the second-place team will receive $3,000 on top of the regional $1,000, and third place an additional $1,000. If that’s a little confusing, the rundown is effectively this:
- First Place - $10,000 + $1,000 (Regional) for a total of $11,000
- Second Place - $3,000 + $1,000 (Regional) for a total of $4,000
- Third Place - $1,000 + $1,000 (Regional) for a total of $2,000
- Fourth – Sixth Place - $1,000 ea. (Regional)
Overall, we’re looking at a prize pool of $20,000. The winning teams will also receive an exclusive, as yet unrevealed, title.
