Setting Resets, Auction House Issues, Missing Characters, And More Being Addressed By Throne And Liberty
Not everything is fixed, but the team is working on issues.
MMORPG launches are always fun, aren't they? While Throne and Liberty has had some "ups," there's certainly been quite a few "downs" as well. The Amazon Games team has been working on some of the more common issues and issuing fixes, but some problems remain outstanding, so a new post from the team providing updates was very welcome.
I won't cover every issue that is mentioned in the post so make sure to check to see if your personal issue is there.
However, some of the more commons one, like my own "settings are reset every damn time I log in" issue, do get a nod from the team. It turns out that this specific issue is actually linked to a number of other issues like characters not being found, realm selection, and even store access. Apparently these details all reside on the same section of servers and there simply wasn't enough of them. They have added more servers to handle this load, but it hasn't resolved this for everyone yet. The team wants you to know they are still working on it, and no, you haven't lost your character tor anything.
Other common issues are the usual login queues and servers not accepting new characters. While the team is increasing populations on servers, they are doing it slowly. That means it is kind of a "check back later" fix.
If you're in Europe and saw your Auction House listings basically vanish, this seems to have been resolved. A disappearing Friends List in multiple regions issue has not be solved yet, though.
I really hope the team keeps up this level of communication. Issues suck, but not knowing what's causing the issues or when to expect resolution is even worse.
