Yesterday, Funcom dropped a tiny look at how Secret World Legends' new combat would work on Twitter, highlighting the Pistol's Chamber Roulette system in particular. Today, they offered a slightly more in depth look at the game's new combat system, giving players an idea of what the combat mechanics for swords, elemental magic, and shotguns will be like.

Lead System Designer Andrew Ryker and Game Director Romain Amiel offer a brief explanation of how combat in Secret World Legends differs from that in the game's predecessor, The Secret World. In general they point to the game's reticle based combat, the ability to adjust it to your comfort and the fact that it makes the game a bit more like a third person FPS or action RPG.

Take a peek at the video above to get a feel for the upcoming release.

The original game has nothing wrong and they made this and wipe the accounts, so, i'm lvl 1 again, not playing it anymore. -_-

Combat system was never the problem for me. It has always been the really awkward animations in combat that kinda sucked. I end up using shot guns and rifles every time to avoid the ugly melee.

Seems fine to me, combat looks better than before and honestly I just loved the game for the story so maybe now the combat will be cool as well.
