Rumor Becomes Fact: Amazon Games Will Publish Throne And Liberty In NA, SA, EU, And Japan
It was kind of the worst kept secret in MMORPG-land, but yeah, now we know for sure.
In what was probably one of the worst kept secrets in MMORPG titles recently, the general consensus was that Amazon Games would assist NCSoft with publishing duties for the upcoming Throne and Liberty. Today, that rumor is confirmed.
In addition to their publishing duties for Lost Ark, the next Tomb Raider game, Bandai Namco's upcoming MMORPG Blue Protocol, Disruptive Games' next multiplayer title, and a few other titles, Amazon Games will now spearhead the launch of Throne and Liberty in North America, South America, Europe, and Japan.
Amazon Games will take care of Throne and Liberty on all platforms including PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S as the eagerly anticipated title will be cross-platform.
“Amazon Games is one of the most reliable partners for publishing massive live-service games globally, with proven expertise in operations, localization, marketing, and community support,” said Moonyoung Choi, principal development management officer at NCSOFT. “For our next-gen flagship title, we’re confident they are the right publisher to bring THRONE AND LIBERTY’s inimitable value and its dynamic, immersive MMO experience to players around the world.”
While we still don't have an exact launch date for Throne and Liberty, barring delays, it won't be long now.
