Rift’s Latest Dimension Contest Tasks Players With Building Something Medieval
It can be an elaborate castle or a quaint tavern, so long as it fits the theme.
One very impressive thing about the F2P MMORPG Rift is its version of a housing system, dimensions. With this system, players with skill and imagination can build any number of things. The system allows players to tweak a build down to planks of wood, which means they can do a lot.
That’s probably why the game’s dev team enjoys hosting dimension-building contests. This month, the devs have set players the task of building something Medieval – hence the event name “The Grand Medieval Clash”. Don’t worry if you’re not down with building a castle or tower, the only requirement is that it be something medieval. If you’d rather build a tavern, or a hut, or maybe a blacksmith shop, these are all acceptable options.
To participate in the event, players need to decorate a dimension in the spirit of this month’s theme and take some screenshots to upload to the Rift Discord server or share via social media. Three participants will be chosen as winners, with prizes ranging from 3000 Credits for 1st place to 1000 Credits for 3rd place. Participation and submission instructions can be found on the Rift site.
