Rift's Christmas Event Fires Up One In-Game "12 Days of Telara" Event And Three Out-Of-Game Events
The out-of-game events are the type you're likely vary familiar with by now.
RIFTmas 2024 is underway starting today, and there's actually quite a few ways to celebrate in Rift...and a few outside of the MMORPG, too. You'll probably want to start by filling out a quick survey, as some of the 12 Days of RIFTMas gifts are actually raffles. Why you have to enter (beyond maybe just an engagement stat they can track) is beyond me, as the survey literally just asks for your Character name, Server, and Region. You only have to fill it out once to be eligible for every raffle.
Starting today and running through December 27th, a new gift becomes available each day you log in. Between today and December 21st, there's also boosts to Player & Guild and Dungeon Currency gains.
Outside of Telara (at least as far as you have to submit your entires), there's three different events to take part in. These will be familiar to most of you since they're the usual suspects. First is a Dimensions Decorating contest. This time you'll be decorating around the (surprise) winter theme. Second is a trivia contest. Go answer these questions for a chance to win. Finally, players can take part in a screenshot contest. The theme, once again, is the holidays. Make sure you find the best "holiday" spot in the MMO and submit your screen shot.
Each of these 3 events offers various amounts of credits for the winners and requires specific submission requirements. Read up on both on the official post.
