Reimagined Moonwater Plains Shown Off In New Blade & Soul NEO Classic Preview
The team wants to make the world feel more alive.
What do you think of NEO Classic, a reimagined experience of Blade & Soul?
In the latest edition of the Soul Log Series, Hyungwook Park — the art director for the upcoming MMORPG — offers a first look at the Moonwater Plains. The team says they are striving to infuse the game with rich details and vibrancy, aiming to reignite the sense of adventure and nostalgia. Players are prompted to choose their favorite location among Hogshead Pastures, Lycandi Foothills, Sapphire Basin, Highland Necropolis, and Blackram Shipyard.
The developers are enhancing the landscape and skyline to create a livelier world. By incorporating user feedback and insights from the development process, NEO Classic seeks to provide a dynamic and detailed environment. For example, windmills and waterwheels in Hogshead Pastures are now in motion, and lotus trees in Sapphire Basin gently dance in the wind. The team’s goal is to make the world feel alive.
More details are on the way via future Soul Logs, offering users insights into the ongoing development process.
