Ram Opponents To Infect Them In The New "Operation Red Light" PvP Mode, Just A Sliver Of Crossout's "Holy Motors" Update
There's even a new fire-breathing shotgun relic weapon to craft as Season 7's battle pass kicks off.
Season 7 of the Crossout battle pass is underway! The "Holy Motors" update is live and bringing a lot to the table for those that love the vehicular mayhem in the free-to-play title from Gaijin Entertainment and Targem Games.
First and foremost, new weapons! That's right plural. Take down your enemies with the M-25 Guardian frontal machine gun (which buffs your own resistance upon successfully hitting your enemy), the "Waltz" rotary rocket launcher (which deal increasing damage for each subsequent hit in a single volley), or craft your very own new relic weapon, the Jormungandr. This craftable only item (meaning you cannot get it in the new battle pass, you HAVE to make it) will pelt an enemy and heat up the hit parts if the initial shotgun barrage of pellets scores at least 50% hits.
In addition to weapons and new cosmetics, the update brings back the "Fortress" map. Those of you that have been playing already know that this is the 3rd map to be pulled out of playable rotation for upgrades...you'll also be happy to know that his completes the planned map upgrades.
A new PvP mode also makes its way into the game in Holy Motors. "Operation Red Light" tasks 10 players to use their own vehicles to complete multiple objectives. The catch? Two additional players are "infected" and rolling around in pre-set Ravager war machines. If these two players manage to ram into any of the other 10 players...even with just the slightest of taps, the player also becomes infected. Actions for both the team of survivors and the team of infected will be taken into account though so don't think rewards are out of reach as the number of infected grows.
So yeah...Crossout zombie vehicles basically!
