Are the changes enough to make you consider playing again already or will it take more?

Later this summer, Inflexion Games will drop the largest update to Nightingale so far. I reported recently about the initial announcement behind these plans and how the team hopes to use the incoming updates to improve the number of players in the survival game.

In a new blog, the Nightingale team details both the progression system revamp and the structure limit increases coming in the aptly titled "Realms Rebuilt" update. There will be a second blog coming soon providing more details about the "0.5" update. There will not be a 0.4 update anymore, though. It has been rolled into this larger 0.5 patch.

First up, progression. Call it a talent tree if you want, but the idea here is to get your progression through recipes and tools to be well-aligned with how you're actually leveling up and to streamline the process. Turns out, this is a bit more streamlined than just unlocking tools and equipment through quests and purchasing things from the Trader. Gain Essence, spend it on the tree, make things. Easy.

On this topic, Augmentations will no longer be needed for crafting. Instead, Augmentations will be attached to benches and provide crafting buffs when using that bench.

Structure limits are being increased. When it comes to items placed, the limits are increasing more than three-fold. You'll only have one other limit, instead of two. Height. Realm-wide height is being increased and the UI will show you when you're getting close to the new limits. The post goes into details on how these limits were increased from a tech perspective if you're into that kind of info.

The only "downside" here so far is that you will have to create a new character when this update arrives. "...the Realms Rebuilt update will implement a player character progression reset, requiring players to start a new character. This was the only way to ensure that existing players would be able to experience the breadth of new content available within this update.," says the post.

If you've unlocked Twitch drops, those will be available to claim again and your current Estate could be saved in the offline mode, if you like, but it won't receive additional updates.

Check out the full post to see some of the building styles and new equipment planned ahead of the second blog post coming soon.

I do not mind, I haven't played yet, I think it needs to be a little less, so I;ll wait like I do with a lot of games today. Unless of course its a really top game.
And when your waiting on games to drop prices, go back on ones not completed or not even played, like i've done recently, I went back to Hogwarts legacy and completed it 100%+ still having fun today where those last revelio pages. cheers to game8 for the help. so hard to find all this stuff, no wonder not many do it, but i enjoy it. :)
