Operation S.U.M.M.E.R. Kicks Off In War Thunder, Unique Vehicles Up For Grabs
Things are heating up in War Thunder, as Operation S.U.M.M.E.R. gives tankers and pilots the chance to earn unique vehicles and other loot -- both individually and as a community.
During the month-long event, players can earn Marks of Distinction by performing various tasks every two days. Unique vehicles are awarded at seven and 13 Marks, with other, smaller, prizes offered at lower Mark totals. In addition, the community as a whole will receive bonuses and cosmetics for completing a large number of tasks. And, of course, if you end up a little short of your goal, you can purchase a few extra Marks of Distinction from the cash shop.
Operation S.U.M.M.E.R. runs from today, July 28, until Aug. 28. Learn more on the War Thunder site.
As an additional note, five destroyers -- one for each nation -- have been added to War Thunder's Naval Forces pre-beta (no, really, that's what they call it) for this weekend's testing. You can get into the test by purchasing a pre-order pack or registering on the War Thunder site.
