When Once Human adds scenarios into the survival game, it adds a little something new to do as you're building up your base or digging into the secrets of the world. However, players have been asking for scenarios to be a bit more exciting and dynamic, so Starry Studio is answering that desire with a new feature called the "Visional Wheel."

Starting with January's Lunar Oracle scenario, where the moon basically turns your eyes red and introduces new challenges to multiple game modes, the "Visional Wheel" will spin and land on one of three different modifiers. "Survival" mode changes survival rules, environmental conditions, and resource distribution. Should the wheel land on "Combat," expect new weapon types and build changes. Finally, if "Game Modes" comes up, the scenario's basic game rules get modified.

Completing challenges under the influence of the Visional Wheel offers exclusive Deviations and mod rewards. The wheel will be altering events in January and will continue to modify things through March. The Lunar Oracle scenario will be the first to get altered on January 16th.

The Visional Wheel is also replacing the current "Hard" modes of scenarios that have that difficulty mode since they have been designated as "too repetitive." Normal modes will still exist for those that don't want to take on the more challenging content.

Check out the full schedule so far on the official site and you can get a look at how each Wheel option will alter Lunar Oracle.
