Once Human Update

It looks like players of Stary Studio’s open-world survival and crafting game Once Human are going to be getting some of the things they’ve been asking for recently. In a post on the game’s Steam page, the developers outlined some of the things they have in the works for the game, and some of them are pretty big. For example, those who have been less than happy with being locked out of a server after a scenario comes to an end – despite not having been able to complete it – will no longer have to worry about that.

On or around March 13, permanent servers will be introduced to the game. Effectively, current Scenario servers will be turned into permanent servers once the scenario ends following the settlement phase. There will be some restrictions, such as the fact that players who haven’t logged in in over 30 days will not be able to return to the server but will be returned to Eternaland, where they can start a new scenario. The devs plan to lift the restriction at some point, but for now, this is the best thing for the servers. It’s also worth noting that content added after a server becomes permanent will not necessarily be added to the server – although optimizations, balancing, and the like will.

Another useful feature being added to the game is the ability for players to access assets across their accounts. Players will soon be able to access the Stellar Stairway, Starcrom, and Blueprints across all their characters at the account level. Weapons, cosmetics, and mods are on the list as well. This feature is expected on March 27.

The post also covers a list of optimizations and other fixes as well as new PvP content. As mentioned, it can be found on Steam.
