Nightingale’s Winter Update To Introduce The First Fae Tile Set, New Features, And Improvements Tomorrow
The update also kicks off the winter event.
After about a week on the PTR, a new update is going live in Nightingale. The Winter Update, teased by Inflexion Games in last week’s Dev Bites episode, will introduce player-hosted servers, make improvements to NPC automation and build mode, and more. It will also add new content such as a new tileset, gliding ring courses, and spells.
The new tileset is the survival game’s first Fae tile set, Obsidian. It offers players the opportunity to build Fae architecture. It’s designed to work well with other styles as well, so players should be able to make good use of it.
Of course, as this is a winter update, it will include a winter event. During the event, players can play winter minor cards that put snow on the ground and in the air. They will be able to skate and slide on various surfaces. And yes, there are snowballs to throw.
Full details on the update will be provided when the patch drops. Until then, you can watch the dev video below. It all drops tomorrow, December 17th, after maintenance starting at noon eastern.
