New Video Offers Peek At Blade & Soul Unreal Engine 4 Update
Just in case you were wondering, NCSoft is in the process of upgrading Blade & Soul from Unreal Engine 3 to 4. In fact, the company decided to show off some of what players can expect when the upgrade is complete. Of course, the problem is -- as MMOCulture points out -- we have no idea when that will be. This kind of upgrade could take a long time, and the developer hasn't even tried to offer an estimate.
What they did do, however, is drop a short video for the Korean audience. In addition to offering a look at the graphical future of the game, the video also teases new content -- mostly centered on things like fishing and gathering.
The video is available to watch below. Make sure that closed captioning is on and that it's set to whatever language you prefer. (It's almost worth turning it on just to see how badly YouTube auto-translate can really be.)
