MU Online Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary
MU Online is turning 10 -- a fairly respectable number considering how some MMOs turn out. To celebrate the big event, WEBZEN is hosting a few events and offering some special deals on the game's store.
The two big events are the Mystic Gift Box Event and the Evomon Event. Both kick off today and will run until June 6. During this time, players will be able to obtain one of three special gift boxes -- each containing useful items -- with in-game gold. The boxes are available in the shop and consists of a Small Box (10 GP - Purchasable every 24 hours), a Normal Box (20 GP - Purchasable every 48 hours), and a Unique Box (1000 GP - Purchasable once.)
The Evomon Event allows players to use summoning scrolls to summon an Evomon and upgrade it via evolution. Of course, players won't just be handed the scrolls, but will need to collect fragments and combine them.
As players evolve their Evomon, there is a chance to get a rare, special one. Should this happen when a player is in a party, the party members will receive one as well.
