Metin 2 Lifts All Recent Bans In Response To Cheatblocker Issues
Following Metin 2's most recent Cheatblocker update, it appears multiple players that should not have been banned were. Since then, Gameforge has looked into the issue and announced that they would not only be halting pending bans but also lifting all bans related to the update.
The plans are to un-ban anyone who was banned in March of this year and December 2020 as well. They'll also be looking into even earlier bans. The devs do note it will take some time, but since the process is already underway, they request players not submit tickets regarding the bans.
The decision to unban all accounts related to this update will result in some who actually deserved to be banned being reinstated. However, manually rechecking every banned account would delay those who didn't deserve to be caught up in one having their accounts returned to them.
The Metin 2 team is also already looking into compensating players for any items that may have expired during their ban.
