Making War Thunder "Tankier" - Update 1.45
War Thunder's next major update, 1.45, is probably still a few weeks away since it's being advertised as releasing before the year's end but information about the update's contents has been coming out all weekend.
Code named "Steel Generals," update 1.45 will be adding 30 new tanks to the ground forces and an undisclosed number of planes. Featured in the new tank line up are the U.S. WWII tanks including the M4 Sherman and the M26 Pershing. The full profiles for 5 of the highly anticipated tanks is already available on the game's dev blog.
In other War Thunder news, the update is also set to add new tools so that users can set up and manage their own tournaments, live stream, and a fully overhauled spectator mode.
