Let's Get Dangerous: Landmark Gets Lethal With New Patch
The world of Landmark just got a whole lot more dangerous.
The Combat patch went up late last night, and added death, weapons, armor, PvP, monsters, and more to SOE's sandbox builder. Players can forge gear to help them deal with the new hazards and set up PvP battles on their claims. The three weapons -- Conjurer's Staff, Marksman's Bow or Soldier's Blade -- each fit a specific fighting style, while armor provides passive benefits like constant healing or quicker cast times on abilities, in addition to their defensive effects.
Also available are a bunch of transportation options, teleporters, flingers, and moving platforms, to help you get around on your claim in style. You an read our full recap of the combat in Landmark from SOE Live here.
If you haven't played Landmark for a while, do you plan to jump back in now that you can grind your fellow explorers/builders into dust?
