Welcome Blade & Soul’s Newest Class, The Musician, In A Full NCSoft Preview
This new and unique gameplay style will open up a range of new opportunities.
On October 12 with Blade & Soul’s Symphony of Destruction update, players will also be able to enjoy the fifteenth class in the game, The Musician. This new class adds new support capabilities while providing plenty of solo power. The Musician is a ranged fighter who uses their Harp to transform music into powerful effects. Music notes will become harmful projectiles while melodies will act as shields. The class will be able to boost allies and offer a range of support/DPS gameplay that will allow players to craft their own unique experiences.
This class will only be available to female characters of the Jin, Yun, and Lyn races. The class will have two specializations: Way of the Divine and Way of Harmony. Way of the Divine will provide the usual range of fighting abilities with a focus on dealing damage and complex rotations. This class relies heavily on timing and players will need to use their skill rotations wisely. Then, Way of Harmony is the Musician’s forte. The Musician will be able to create a Sound Barrier meter to enable a range of greater damage or healing skills. Talents will allow players to increase the speed and intensity of spells, or specialize the Musician into a healer or party damage booster.
Lastly, music aficionados will be pleased to hear that the Musician class will also be able to compose music in the game. Players that would like to learn more about this new class can check out our deeper look into the Musician class.
