UPDATE: NOW It's Official...World Of Warcraft: Wrath Of The Lich King Classic Could Drop This September
It's almost time to face-off against the Lich King...again.
MMORPG World of Warcraft: Classic will receive the long-awaited Wrath of the Lich King expansion this year and, once again, reignite nostalgia across its fanbase. In the case of the release date, Blizzard might have spilled the beans on the expansion's official website, which showed a September 26 launch.
However, the date is completely gone now, replaced by the usual "in 2022" from before. We caught wind of the switch from WoW Head. The short article leans into the idea that the update might have been a "mistake from Blizzard," but no one can really say at this time besides the company. Regardless, it's not a far-fetched date. With 2022 getting closer to the latter half of the year, somewhere within the nook of September and November seems likely.

UPDATE 7/25/2022: NOW it is official! September 26th is, in fact, the magic date as Blizzard revealed via an official announcement today. The announcement came complete with a snazzy new date trailer, too!
