Interactive Timeline: Everquest 2's 10th Anniversary
I love things like this. Compilations, documentaries, bits of extra footage, I don't care what game it's for, if it shows years of history I'll sink some time into watching it. To celebrate Everquest 2's 10th anniversary. SOE did exactly my kind of thing.
There's something really cool and nostalgic about watching trailers for your favorite MMO from years gone by and flipping through the trailers for release and every expansion since then is like a walk down memory lane. Admitedly, I never sank a TON of time into EQ2, but even I sat and clicked each trailer and had fun watching the visual progression throughout the years. No doubt EQ2 junkies will smile more than once clicking through this interactive timeline.
SOE will also be airing an anniversary themed live even on their Twitch page today (Friday the 14th) at 2 PM PST. Check it out on their official Twitch page.
