Gwent Coming To Smart Phones In 2019; Expansion Launches Tomorrow
Soon you'll be able to get your Gwent fix on the go, when CD Projekt Red releases the Witcher card game on smart phones. An iPhone release is planned for later this year, with an Android release to be announced at a later date. Gwent Game Director Jason Slama said in the announcement that CDPR "tailored much of our technology, including GOG Galaxy which powers Gwent's multiplayer, to support mobile devices."
The announcement comes a day before the launch of Gwent's first expansion, Crimson Curse, which adds over 100 new cards and five new leader characters. There's still time to pick up one of the pre-order packs for the expansion before tomorrow's launch, so head over to the Gwent site if you want to get a leg up on the competition.
