Gwent Announces 'Way Of The Witcher" Expansion, Just In Time For The Holidays
Gwent players are in for an early Christmas present this year, the 'Way of the Witcher' expansion. This new content update is slated to arrive on December 8, and brings 70 new cards to the game. These new cards focus on the origins of the witchers and Alzur and include 60 faction-specific cards as well as 10 neutral cards to use across all factions.
The update adds new abilities and mechanics, including "Adrenaline" which becomes active when the amount of cards left for a player to use have fallen below a certain amount. This will provide players with new synergies to use in gameplay.
Pre-order packs are already available, a $15 10-level base pack and the $50 Alzur's pre-order pack which includes 25 premium kegs as well as other items. Players who want both can save $10 and buy the combo pack.
